Ways to Serve on Sunday Mornings
College Outreach: If you would like to provide transportation to University of Richmond students who interested in worshiping with us, please contact Pastor Michael at mpottschmidt@trinityrichmond.net or 270-4626 ext. 2157.
Coffee Fellowship: Coffee and snacks are provided in the narthex/commons area to promote fellowship on Sunday mornings. Contact Judy Schini if interested in assisting with setting up or cleaning up on Sunday mornings.
Greeters: Greet members and visitors and be available to answer questions at the Welcome Desk in the narthex. Contact Ann Norris if interested.
Library Volunteer: The Helen Pohlig Memorial Library needs volunteers to check out and check in library books before and after all services on Sunday. Contact Barbara Wenk if interested.
Readers: Read the Old and New Testament lessons during all services. Contact Sandra Garnett if interested in reading. Readers are assigned on a rotating basis and generally read every 1-2 months.
Sunday School Coordinator: Delivers and collects attendance sheets and collection baskets to all Sunday School classes, records attendance, delivers Sunday School offering to church office.
Ushers: The Usher Committee organizes, trains and schedules the ushers who receive and seat worshipers, receive the offering and count the persons in attendance and perform other customary functions during Worship. Please contact Don Taylor if you would be willing to serve as an usher at the 8:30 am or 11 am services. Ushers participate in the 9:45 am service by greeting and providing bulletins to those worshiping. Contact Brutus Russell if you are interested in serving this way.
Van Drivers: Trinity provides van transportation to those worshipping with us with special needs to insure that they arrive for 9:45 am worship and return home after Sunday School which ends at noon. Please contact Feisal Hassan if you would like more information.
