Primetime Discipleship at TLC

The Primetime Discipleship Team, started in 2006, works to discover and devise plans to meet the needs of the seniors at Trinity. This began with education, by scheduling speakers on topics of interest or concern. In order to better meet these needs, all of Trinity's seniors congregation were invited to attend Trinity's first annual "Bless the Years Service" in October 2008 and were surveyed regarding needs. This committee was then able to prioritize areas of concern, including transportation and home maintenance. To help in these two areas, the Primetime Discipleship Team is part of the established free programs of The Shepherd's Center of Richmond. Another need often mentioned on the surveys was daytime Bible study, and Pastor Paul’s Monday Morning Bible Class meets that need. In response to requests for a central place at church to get information of interest to seniors, a resource file of materials, available in the church library, is being developed.
